11. Satellite Reign

Satellite Reign is a tactical role playing game developed for Windows, OSX and Linux and released on August 28, 2015. It was announced on Kickstarter with estimated goal of 350,000 Pounds on June 28, 2015 and a month later it received funding along with 44,000 pounds stretched funding.

Scene of Game is set on the Cyberpunk city with four agents who try to gain control of the city which is nearly as same as what we see ours. Those four agents have unique abilities and they are together either to loosen the hold of Corporate people on masses or to get control on city for themselves which is the choice of user.

Game is well versed on strategical end allowing people to choose their own unique gameplan to reach the ultimate goal. Game has received 81% score on Metacritic.

12. The Book of Unwritten Tales 2

A Sucessor of The Book of Unwritten Tales: The Critter Chronicles released in 2012, this game was released on February 20, 2015. This game is an adventure game. It challenges player with series of puzzels and brain teasers which are to be solved by coopertion or switching between four characters controlled by a single player in the game.

Story of the game is set as a Gremlin Professor witnesses dark secret of powerfull artifact which will make his owner rule the world. On one end Army of Shadows want to get hold of this secret and on other end, These three heroes Wilbur – a cook and bottle washer, Nathenial – human adventurer, Ivo – Princess of Silver forest realm, and Critter – an alien who accompanies Nathenial as he left behind by his own kind find themselves unwillingly drawn into this crisis to save artifact from Army of Shadows.

This game received a huge critical acclaim in Germany with 87/100 by Critify.de and a Metacritic score of 82/100.

13. Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor

Developed by Monolith Productions and Published by Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment, this game is more of an action-adventure Video Game with Initial version released on Windows and PS4 in November 2013, and OSX and Linux Version released on July 30, 2015.

The events in story find their linking to famous Hollywood films The Hobbit and Lord Of The Rings for which the developer of game consulted the directors of both the films. Weta Workshop also assisted and advised the team to create special effects.

Player controls a Ranger named Tailon who was killed by Black Hand of Sauron. His spirit merged with wraith of Elf Lord Celebrimbor try to fight the death of their loved ones. Specially for those who love fighting games like Tekken, this is much more than that.

In this, player can engage in combat, use abilities to fight against enemies. One feature that makes the game tough and must play is Nemesis System where the characters remember the death of Tailon using Artificial Intelligence and react accordingly.

Receiving Metacritic Score of 84 and GameRanking Score of 86, this game has won several awards mostly being Game of the Year by Joystiq, GameSpot, GiantBomb and Game Developer Choice Award. It was ranked 2 on charts in UK retail sales only behind FIFA and ninth best selling game in USA in October 2014.

    There is no Witcher 3, MortalKombat X nor Lego Jurassic World, no Batman Arkham Knight on linux! FFS, get your facts straight.

  3. The List is so incredible wrong. Its just click bait! Wichter3, Mortal Kombat X, Lego and Batman has not released for linux. And the most of this games will never seen SteamOS. But there are a lot of good games for Linux. I recommend all of u guys to go to gamingonlinux.com. Best news site for penguingamers
