Same here. I think a lot of people underestimate how much stale cache, logs, and leftover package data quietly accumulates over time. 

The first time I ran &lt;strong&gt;BleachBit&lt;/strong&gt;, I had the exact same reaction. “&lt;strong&gt;Where did all this junk even come from?&lt;/strong&gt;” It also made the &lt;code&gt;df vs du&lt;/code&gt; discrepancy make a lot more sense once you realize how many hidden or deleted-but-still-open files can linger around.]]></description>

I recently switched from &lt;strong&gt;Stacer&lt;/strong&gt; to &lt;strong&gt;BleachBit&lt;/strong&gt; to clean superfluous files from my system, and the first time I used it, I was absolutely shocked by how much cruft there was. 

I’m talking about 3-4 GB of old, useless, or obsolete junk. So yes, I can definitely see how &lt;code&gt;df&lt;/code&gt; and &lt;code&gt;du&lt;/code&gt; can disagree.]]></description>
