The only way to install updates offline is to download the latest version of RHEL ISO, mount it into the filesystem, and install the packages. Another way is to set up a Yum local repository on a client machine.

I never tried this solution, but I think you could add this line &lt;code&gt;exclude=*&lt;/code&gt; in &lt;strong&gt;/etc/yum.conf&lt;/strong&gt; so that the package manager excludes every package from installs and updates.]]></description>
