Then you need to manually install the Kernel…

After running command:

# yum --disablerepo="*" --enablerepo="elrepo-kernel" list available

no kernel version 4.18, and just view version 5.4.

and running command:

# yum install kernel-4.18.0-80.1.2.el8_0.x86_64

Output:
Nothing to do.

To install a specific kernel version, use the following:

# yum install kernel-{version}

You can list the kernel version using the following command.

# yum check-update | grep kernel

Then install the specifi kernel version a shown.
