@Joe,

Thanks for sharing your experience! It's great to hear you're finding Linux so versatile. We're glad our site could help. Enjoy experimenting with Mint on your Dell Tablet, and we look forward to hearing your feedback on our recommendations!

Hi, I visited your site looking for an educational OS for a few reasons. Anyway, I have used a few distros over the past 20 years; however, I have returned with a vengeance as Linux has come so far.

It's intoxicating what and how much you are able to do, and I kid you not, I have almost 10 old laptops mostly with Mint OS, but a couple with others.

As I am typing this, I am experimenting with a Dell 5175 Tablet running a live Mint, and it works perfectly. Anyway, I would like to thank you for the info from this site, and please keep it up.

I will leave another comment later when I have tried out some of your recommendations.

"From the point of view of a regular user, Linux might seem like an operating system that is primarily used by administrators and software developers for professional kinds of uses."

Only the Window Fanbois and the uninformed think that way. Regular users know that Linux is used as any other operating system, i.e. for productive work.
