Yes, you are absolutely correct.

&lt;strong&gt;nmon&lt;/strong&gt; is indeed short for &lt;strong&gt;Nigel&#039;s Monitor&lt;/strong&gt; and was originally developed by Nigel Griffiths in his personal time. While IBM did later adopt it as an official tool, the primary development and maintenance remained with Nigel Griffiths, who also added Linux support.]]></description>
