Since this article was written, #3 Foxit PDF Editor seems to have changed its pricing. There doesn't seem to be any lifetime license now, just a (quite expensive, but not as expensive as Acrobat) annual subscription. As an aside, I'm trying my best to resist all the companies moving from "buy our product" to "rent our product," where they can keep you paying forever. How long until car manufacturers discover this?

It might be worth mentioning, that AFAIK there is no native Foxit Desktop PDF Editor for Linux. System requirements state Windows and MacOS only. There is a cloud service, but I do not know how much of the functionality is available there. The screenshot in the article shows the Windows Version of Foxit PDF Reader. There used to be a Linux version of it, but looks like Foxit binned it…
