I have just followed your tutorial on how to install &lt;strong&gt;tlp&lt;/strong&gt;, and enable the service, and then I installed powertop. I haven&#039;t done the autotune or calibration thing yet, as I would like to know what your opinion is on this first.]]></description>

Thanks for the concern,  it helps to improve future articles. You can read some power  management suggestions in terms of saving settings from this link below.
The best idea to keep permanent settings is to write scripts and execute them over time.
