In reply to Matt Jones. @Matt, Try this command to fix the error:

$sudo rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/* && sudo apt-get update && mintupgrade download

I get a red error “!! ERROR: Failed to configure APT sources”.

Now because it’s in red I am not proceeding, anyone else come across this?
