Install Opera 12.11 (Browser) in RHEL/CentOS 6.3 and Fedora 17/16/15

This guide shows how to install Opera 12.11 web browser in CentOS 6.3 Linux. However, it should also works on all Red Hat 6.3/6.2/6.1/6/5.8, CentOS 6.3/6.2/6.1/6/5.8 and Fedora 17,16,15,14,13,12 version’s as well.

Opera Web Browser is one of the most popular and fastest loading browser developed by Opera Software. The latest stable version is 12.11 was released on June 2012.

Step 2: Installing Opera 12.11 Browser

Need to be a Super User (root) to install Opera Web Browser from Command prompt using below command.

# rpm -Uvh opera-12.11-1661.i386.rpm

Start Opera Browser from command line and click on Agree.
