    I guess there is a typo here

    $ sudo systemctl apache2 restart  #SystemD
    $ sudo service apache2 restart     #SysVInit  

    should be
    $ sudo systemctl restart apache2 #SystemD
    $ sudo service apache2 restart #SysVInit
