    I’ve read several similar article about PowerTop. Most are Install, Run, See-the-screens summary articles. However, I have yet to see details about (1) setting and saving parameters, (2) monitoring those settings over time as laptop use changes, then (3) keeping and using those settings across system restart. Likewise, I don’t find instructions in the available documentation. When lessons are left to the student, it might help if one offered suggested and recommended readings … something other than the code and the kernel.
